Rooms are available from £35 per person per night, Bed & Breakfast.

There is no extra charge for well-behaved dogs! And we provide secure cycle parking which is available, free of charge.

All the rooms have televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, alarm clock, wardrobe and dressing table.

A library of DVDs available for guest use in the guests lounge along with books and games

We can even provide a generous Packed lunch, which is available from £6 per person.

Sadly our village pub, the George and Dragon, is temporarily closed as of April 2019. There are several excellent cafes and pubs in Alston, 4 miles away.

From Penrith

Drive 22 mins east along the A686, at Alston follow the B6277 4 miles to Garrigill.In 2001 this route was nominated one of the top ten most scenic drives in the world.

From Carlisle

45 mins south east of Carlisle, towards Brampton (Jct 44 M6 on A689), at Brampton turn right towards Alston (A689), then follow to Garrigill (B6277).

From the South

60 mins north of Scotch Corner, follow to Barnard Castle (A66), at Barnard Castle turn off towards Middleton-in-Teesdale (B6277), drive through the beautiful Tees Valley towards Alston. Before Alston turn off at Garrigill.

From the East

50 mins south west of Hexham, follow towards Carlisle (A69), turn left just before Haydon Bridge towards Alston (A686 past Langley Castle). At Alston follow to Garrigill (B6277).
